i don't really know what to say about Shanghai these days. i mean, i've been here for a bit now. i do think though, that i'm starting to like it here. for now, the weather is awesome. it's cold but sunny, the perfect weather to sit out on the grass munching biscuits or have a picnic and watch people play frisbee or football. my toes get soooo freakin' cold at night though.. and i think our lack of central heating will kill us in january! but i guess we'll cross the bridge when we get there.

midterms just finished for us... i think i studied for two days total, but didn't study much the day before the exams like i usually do. after a while, it's all the same and if you know it, you know it already! i did everything i could to procrastinate and get out of the apartment actually. a bunch of us even decided to go drinking after one of the exams. :p it's just that there's no pressure, it's not like our degrees or anything... but as long as we're learning then that's fine.

i think the three of us are starting to have different sets of friends too, friends being our classmates. we've got different dinners, different gimmicks coming up and it's just different. i don't even get to hang out with the other fil-chis that often, with the exception of my flatmates and a couple of other people.

it's november, and i feel like time is flying very quickly. it's like i wake up monday morning and the next thing i know it's saturday already! i think i'd have to decide soon if i want to stay for another semester or not. it's a big decision, and im trying not to think of it at all!

i love how life here is just so easy... like things are cheap, food is definitely cheaper (although western and filipino food are hard to find), the metro is so convenient and taxis are everywhere (though i always say that the easiest place to get a cab is right outside clubs!) there are a lot of things to see, places i haven't even been to yet! seems like there are a lot of more things to do and places to see!
