Well, that's where iconrecognition comes in. Each week, you can post 10 of your own icons that you think are the best of the best. Then, instead of searching for hours through icon communities, potential nominators can stop by, grab some icons to nominate, and be on their merry way.
At the end of the week, the moderators will announce that the week has ended, and that a new week has begun. Then the process starts all over again.
Think of it as a one-stop shop for the best icons of any fandom, any genre, anything. Period.
