Sleepiness
I'm feeling tired again this evening and it's almost 10.30pm. Maybe my body is telling me that I need an early night. Pfffttt....what does my body know? All those late-nighters in college and those sleepless nights when Abby was first born, my body can handle anything! lol
Just got finished watching 'The Rookie' on ABC. Wow, I really liked that movie. It was a tearjerker and a happy movie all in one. I couldn't help but think of Nick, Abby and I while watching it though. I really wish that we could be in a better situation financially, we need stuff like a new computer (this one is on it's last legs), Abby forever needs new clothes, we need to save up money for a new place incase this one ends up getting sold and we're forced to move, Mercia and Peanut need to visit Mister. Vet to get their shots and checkups, and I need a new winter coat (the one I have is huge because I bought it while I was pregnant two winters ago). It doesn't help that the evilness that is the management of Landmark aren't going to re-hire me for the fall bowling season. So I'm going to be completely broke and I'm not going to be able to spoil Abby again this Christmas. I also won't be able to buy Christmas presents for Nick- or an anniversary present for that matter.
....But Henry has offered Nick a job at the temping place that he works at (it's a full-time desk job)and he's looking into it now that we know I'm not going to be getting my part-time waitressing job back :( Fingers crossed...
On a better note, I went to watch the Bike Race over on Downer Ave today. Dave and his dad were there, so I hung out with them and drank fresh lemonade. He also had some roast beef sandwiches that he'd prepared the night before in the crock pot. They were yummy, but I think that I drank too much lemonade 'cause I have a tummyache...:(
