Birthday Madness
So all in all, everything went pretty well. We held the party at my MIL's house because our apartment is too small to fit twenty people at a time and three toddlers running around screaming. So I didn't have any party crap to clear up, yay! I have been cleaning here most of the morning/afternoon though because there was stuff to put away and unpack and put together. So now I have an ass-load of boxes to toss out and we don't have enough garbage space for it all. That reminds me, I have to call Neighbourhood Services and see if they'll give us another trash can :p
They sent us home with cupcakes, milk, juice and an ass load of gifts. One of the best presents that Abby got was a minature table and chairs set. It's just big enough for her to sit at and draw. So I put all that together for her (thankyou Mum for teaching me how to do this stuff- god bless MFI!) and it went together pretty easily. She used it for a part of the morning and now she's sleeping...so I'm trying to get the remainder of the stuff done before she wakes up/Nick gets back. He's gone out with his aunt to get the car business sorted, so sometime this evening we will actually own a car! Holy cow that is such a great feeling. I don't hate public transport but it is a pain with a two year old :p
I'm also aching all over, so I think I'm going to take a couple of ibuprofen :)
BTW: I forgot how much Mr. Potato Head rocks :D
