Walking 101....

so yeah i've started power walking three days ago. I usally go anytime between 3pm and 6pm. I take my son with me, he gets to ride in his stroller. The reason for this exercise is i'm tired of being the weight i am. I'm 190 lbs and five foot seven. I really think i'm over weight and I know i could do better. It's one thing to be 190 and trying everything to loose it and you just can't but to be able to and not do it is not right to me, yes being big can be a beautiful thing but its just not for me. Ive been at 128 pounds before at five foot seven when i was 22, if i could be that at 22, i can be that at soon to be 26. I know i can do this, but im not aiming at 128 i'm aiming at 140 or maybe 130 but no lower. I really don't want to be a skeleton and look like one of these people who starve themselves. I'm also doing it the right way. I did research and i found out you don't have to eat fat free foods and bust your ass on a tred mill everyday just to loose weight or take fat burners and starve yourself to the point of no energy. You can simply walk everyday just 30 min. and eat more fruits and veggies. You can still eat a candy bar or have some normal ice cream once a day and still loose pounds, you just have to do it senseably. I'm a size 18 in womans and i'm already almost a 16. The key is to do it slowly and senseably. I also take an herbal supplement that is a metbolism boost and helps burn calories. It has no chemicals in it and the reason im taking it isn't to loose weight, its because i have a thyroid problem and this kind of herbal supplement helps your thyroid work porperly along with boosting your metbolism. This herb is called thyroid formula and it works good. It just takes awhile to get it working because your body has to adjust to it, but yea there are no chemicals in it just vitamins like B12, iodine, magnesium, zinc, copper, sodium, L-tyrosine, and for people who don't know what L-tyrosine is, its an a amino acid that is needed by the thyroid to produce one of the most important hormones that control metabolism. I just hope this warm weather keeps up that we've been getting. I love the 50 and 60 degree weather, 40 is ok but anything lower is not my cup of tea, so anywho I'm gonna stick to this even if we get a 2 foot snow storm because nothing is gonna stand in the way of my exercises. I may not be able to do my power walking if that happens but i have other ways i could keep exercising, just improvise, so 130 or 140 here i come........
