World blanket

It's snowing. First snow of the year for Clarion. And alas, it can't be enjoyed with my boyfriend at his place and me at college. How are you supposed to go play in the snow and snuggle up with hot chocolate when he's ages and ages away? More like an hour in real time, but in snow-is-blanketing-the-world, OMG!-lets-go-catch-snowflakes-on-our-tongue time, it's an eternity.

But in less sappy albeit no more interesting news, I am no longer a Psych major.

*gasp*

Yes, I know. People pause when I tell them that, like there's a huge "GOTCHA!!" waiting to come after. 'Fraid not. Switched to good old English, where the work is harder, and the job opportunities are rarer, and the pay is lower. I am getting tired of the "Oh, okay" looks where they have decided I'm too stupid to be reasoned with. One of these days I'm going to stab someone with all these spare pens I'm carrying around. It'll be a big day.

"Hey, how are you doing?"

"Oh, really, English? Can you find a job with-"

"Right, right, all about what makes you happy. Even if you won't be able to find a job."

"Wow! That's a lot of pens you've got there..."

Evening News:
"In local news, a man was stabbed today, at Clarion University when an enraged student attacked him with her spare pens, from a book bag she was using as a school supply. Local authorities are reluctant to release the student's name on grounds of bad publicity for the college. Channel 8 has been privy to the information that she resisted arrest, and witnesses claim she kept screaming about "english." More information will follow after our weather update from Phil, down at our sister station. Take it away, Phil..."
