So let's start with friday.
Randy's friends came into the city for john and mel's (randy friend) wedding at the canadian forces college. Such a beautiful place, the day was perfect for the wedding. As i was saying or i should say writting, We went to the science centre and had so much fun there. The kids love it and i was keeping busy running around with them.
Sat: Wedding day. Randy and i went and got our hotel rm for the night, got ready and took a cab to the college. It was so hot and sunny outside that at times it was pretty hard to sit still. The weather was perfect for them, got some pretty good pics from the wedding too. Randy talked to alot of people he hadn't seen for quite some time. Overall i had a good time, even though i was running around in a dress and these shoes that i could not run in with the 2 girls. Even taught one of the girls how to take picture with my camera, she is pretty good for a 4 year old ( i think). So it was a good day and pretty long night, didn't leave the college till about 1:30am.
Sun: got up somewhat early cause i was going to the zoo with the kids and randy's friend anson and kate ( same people i went to the science centre with). Got to the zoo, had fun there, got even more of a tan. But the trip leading up to getting to the zoo was pretty interesting. So i had to get to the zoo from yorkdale shopping centre. Took the subway to downsview to catch the bus to get to sheapard and yonge. To find out that i have to hope on another bus to get to donmills station to catch another bus going to the zoo. The bus ride was so long going from don mills station to the zoo. I called my sister cause she was heading there with her BF and i had to drop off my duffle bag in their car. So she told me that she was at mccowen and sheppard and to get off the bus. So i got off and they gave me the ride the rest of the way. Now going home was pretty interesting. Apparently ttc is a dink again, and forgot or too lazy to change the signs to mention to poeple that the 86A that runs out of kennedy was not working when the schedule said they are. There was only one bus going in and out of the zoo, the 85B and it didn't come all that often despite what the schedule saids. So the line up at the bus stop was HUGE, so huge that you probably needed about 4-5 buses to get everyone. It was freaking rediculous. A bunch of us got so fed up about the wait time, some poeple have been waiting for about 1-1.5hr for a bus; we decided to walk up to meadowvale and sheppard. Got to the ramps where cars and buses come into the zoo and behold a bus. what do people decid to do, stand in front of it. BUs criver stops, refuses to let poeple on this one cuase we are not at the main bus stop and that we should wait for the bus right by the ramps. So we are waiting and when the bus come only half of the people i was with got on, the rest stranded. So we continued to walk... finally got to the intersection and caught a bus that got me to kennedy, met randy and had a nice cup of java.
Now i can say i have had a adventure in scarbough that i do not ever want to do again, but the rouge valley looks very pretty and creepy at the same time. If i didn't not make it home cause the ttc is unreliable, then i probably would of gone into the rouge valley and slept in a ditch. yeah to adventure in scarbough by myself.
Mon: well went to the CNE by myself, spend about 2 hrs standing on a bridge from ontario place to the cne watching the airshow and taking lots of pics ( there was a nice breeze coming from the lake when i was doing this), Walked around for several hours, try to win some more stuffed toys, got tiny tim donut and then went home.
In conclusion, my long weekend was full of adventure to say the least. till next year.
