still busy

On the good news front:

- I am dropping my 6 framed photographs to the exhibition space tomorrow and the exhibit will run almost the whole month of November...the month of photography and while that is good, the cultural center has limited hours so aside from the opening reception, I am not exactly sure who will be there to see it. *shrug*

- there is a "gallery" in Paris that is part of an art collective that has asked me to exhibit my work in December. There is a small amount I would have to pay (I am not usually interested in the "pay for wall" trend, but it's not really expensive) and it is ONLY for 2 days, but as it is in Paris, I may do it for another addition to my CV.

- my YouTube vlog series is done but I will be doing 2 more videos - one art advice one and one global French one.

- I made a decent jewelry sale this weekend! LOL I am actually very seriously considering shutting the business down after the holidays. I am not making a profit especially as I am spending so much money on my website and pro insurance alone, plus paying business taxes on what I do sell, that I can no longer justify these expenses....I will really have to make up my mind, come January...

- Having said that, starting next week, I will be working (modeling) quite regularly up until Christmas with between 3-4 day work-weeks. Thankfully, this month, I will have quite a few cash jobs because I am seriously in the red in my bank account and while I have had a couple of amazing angels (one of you knows who you are!) who have helped us buy groceries this week (this is what it's come to, folks), I need to finally get regular income here again. Sigh.

- Started watching the re-make of Suspiria last night....I never watched the original but as this had Tilda Swinton in it, I HAD to watch....a little too disturbing for me but I will watch the ending today just to understand what the hell the story is really about...a lot of it is in German so when I went to put the subtitles, they only had the French ones and as they go so fast, it was hard to understand it all but moreso, there are definite storytelling issues where you have no clue WHY this is all happening...at least, not yet.

Here is the invite I made for the exhibition.
