Holiday recap.

S. and I had a good day yesterday. We got up fairly early for us and made breakfast (raisin bran and coffee for me, bacon/eggs/who knows what else for her -- we generally don't eat the same types of things), unwrapped gifts. I received just what I asked for: the Cocomotion for hot cocoa and latte drinks, a Ms. Bento because the MR was getting to be too much food, a penguin blanket and pillow (because I'm always a chilly willy and because I heart penguins), a bettie page lanyard for my work ID, bath and body works lip balm, candy... I felt spoiled. I hope she was happy with her stuff.
I then ruined the whole day by crying over God-knows-what and taking a nap. I have a doctor's appt on 1/5. I clearly need medication.
Food-wise, I did alarmingly well. Two beers at 9% alcohol each (I also heart Dogfish Head). I didn't overeat and I'm proud of myself for that.
The one thing I still need is an engagement calendar and I think I'm going to buy this one before work today. I'm just about halfway through my Couch to 5k program and one of my goals is to run a 5k in 2007 so I think it will work nicely to track my progress, distance, weight, improvements... that kind of thing.
That is all. I'm doing laundry so I'll have clothes to wear to work. I plan to work out on my lunch break again (there's a Life Fitness elliptical that is tolerable). Tomorrow I'm running and may actually *gasp* run outside if the weather continues to be nice.
I'm hoping to show a loss for this week, holiday and all. 7 more lbs until my next tattoo. :o)
