It's funny how a simple automated car wash can make your day. I accompanied my sister to have her car cleaned this morning and forgot how something as simple as watching foam or water run over a smooth surface can be strangely pleasant and calming.
I have so much to do this year. I need to become more independent... stand on my own two feet... while not cheating by leaning on someone else's shoulder in the process. I have a tendency to do that.
If there's one thing I most desperately need to accomplish, it's to understand chemistry. The chemisty I'll be tested on in class and the unstudied chemistry between individuals (of which I've gotten terrible grades in both areas). I haven't got a clue about any of it and I'm hoping this may be the year that things "click."
