He sent her a personalized singing strip-o-gram. Yeah. That's right. It was actually a lot like this 'Whose Line' sketch, but with less laughing and Wayne Brady and more actual shirt-removal. It was food-blog/food-critic themed, though. They wrote a special song just for her.
Also delivered was a $25 Visa giftcard and a note, which read:
"Happy Birthday! Thanks for the dinners at the Pen gathering spot. I'd have gotten you a gift card to an actual restaurant, but I thought you'd know the 'good ones' better than I would, so I figured I'd give the cash and leave the choosing to you. -Al Diaz"
