Why: Cuz Morgan got dumped
When Morgan woke up, he stared at the popcorn-textured ceiling of Isaac's spare room until his watch alarm insisted, in its wretchedly cheery voice, that he get up. He groaned as he rolled out of bed; he didn't want to go into the station today. He wanted to lay around feeling miserable and sorry for himself.
"Right," he muttered as he pulled a clean uniform out of his duffel bag, "because a great big pity party is EXACTLY what you need right now."
Once dressed he came into the kitchen and fixed a pot of coffee, making himself at home in Isaac's kitchen. It took him a minute to find the filters and figure out Isaac's coffee maker, which was much fancier than Morgan's and had an intimidating number of settings. By the time he had it working he heard Isaac coming down the hall.
