Getting over to Bianca's apartment was going to be extremely awkward for Cassia Wyndham-Frost. Firstly, her outfit was definitely not for the public eye. She had to figure out someway to get on the subway with a bag full of corsets and fishnets, as well as dressed rather scantily herself. After her persuaded admittance into giving away the date of Bianca's get together to Murdock, she was positive that he was going to show up and with a mantourage. Of course he was. Scantily clad women and alcohol was like a magnet to the poor, simple mind of a male and Murdock was not going to show up by himself and get killed by Bianca. So she'd had to come up with a hasty plan to redeem herself. Obviously there had to be some kind of .. torture involved. A trip to the Victoria's Secret in Manhattan had produced several different corsets in all sorts of shapes, colors and cup sizes, as well as several packages of fishnet stockings. Cassia had decided that she was going to at least warn Bianca, but the corset idea had popped up in her mind a little while after that.

Grabbing some extra clothes, a few toiletries (she figured she was not going to be going home that night), as well as her camera and cell phone, she stuffed those into her purse,as well as the top hat that matched her corset. Bianca's parties were the one time that she was willing to dress so .. racy. Plus, it was all in the fun of the party! And she'd had no time to find a more conservative outfit for the arrival of the boys. She figured she would be drinking somewhat so it would be a little better. Grabbing a large trenchcoat that covered her entire body, she wrapped a scarf around her neck several times, strapping on the black heels she'd bought. Then with her purse and bag of goodies secured, she set out.

The subway was a success. Thankfully no one bothered her, which was lucky for her cause it was close to 9 o'clock on a Saturday night. That was around the time the creeps came out. Reaching Bianca's stop, she got off and hurried out so she could get out of the cold. Ringing the doorbell to be let in, she shivered, dancing around in her heels and brushing some snow off of her jacket. "Biancaaaaaa," Cassia called through the door with a grin, running a hand over her curly locks.

Bianca, at the sound of the doorbell, rushed to buzz Cassia in. "Cass! Welcome to the den of debauchery!" she announced, arms flung wide. With all the work she'd put into decorating her apartment for the theme, Bianca was definitely planning to show it off. But it looked like it would be hard for Cassia to appreciate it full with her arms so full of...well, it looked like everything.

Grabbing one of the bags, she ushered her into the warmth. "What did you bring? Your entire closet?" She pushed her door shut and peeked in one of the bags. "Good lord, Cass! This isn't your size! It's...huge!"

At that moment, the bell sounded again and Bianca sat the bag down, a questioning expression still on her face.

When Bianca opened the door, she was greeted with Janelle smiling nervously and holding a bag from the drug store down the street the Pentamerone.

"Hi," she said. "I brought the necessary supplies."

The knee-length winter coat she wore, coupled with the knee-high black boots that were part of the out the outfit guaranteed that Janelle's Liza Menelli-inspired attire would remain a secret until she was safely indoors.

Like Cassia, she was lucky enough to have escaped any unwanted or skeevy attention from any guys on the subway, though she had nearly missed getting off at the right stop. Her sense of direction was kind of a crap-shoot. She was especially good with directions when given a map, but without a map, she was especially good at getting totally lost. She'd often written it off as a common thing, but maybe it was a remnant of Gretel, who knew?

Letting Bianca grab the bags out of her hand, Cassia had been about to explain the corsets, which Bianca had gone ahead and looked at, but the doorbell had gone off, signalling another one of their comrades had shown up. So she let her friend go get the door as she got rid of her jacket and got comfortable, Taking off her jacket and scarf, she took her regular purse and went and put it in Bianca's bedroom rather quickly. Coming back out looking ready to go with her tophat in her hands, she looked at the Victoria's Secret bag laying on the floor where they had left it. Spinning around, she smiled at her friends. "What do you think out of the outfit?" Cassia still couldn't believe she was wearing something like this. She'd felt naughty even going to the store and buying these sorts of things. Cassia had gone through that entire store feeling like everyone was watching her and only her and what she was buying.

Greeting both of her friends with customary kisses on the cheek, she crouched down by the bag and picked it up, then set it down on a chair. "Alright, I can explain this. I have a confession to make." Cassia looked sheepish. "Murdock managed to bribe me into giving him the date of the party and I know he's going to show up, probably flanked by a mantourage. SO! I came up with an idea and that's where these corsets and fishnets," she reached over and picked up a package, holding it up before dropping it into the bag, "are going to come in handy. It's inevitable that they are going to try to get in so I think they should be able to come in, but for a price." The blonde nudged the bag with a little cute, innocent grin that was probably supposed to be evil, though Cassia was not really able to maintain a facial expression that was even remotely close to being evil. Though the girl did certainly try!

At the mention of Murdock, Bianca's smile was instantly replaced by a scowl. Why on earth couldn't he just leave her alone? And now he was harassing her friends for information? That was unacceptable! But at least Cassia had the wherewithal to realise that Murdock would make use of the information. It wasn't just her evening he was invading, but a very special night she'd planned with her friends.

At that thought, an evil grin spread across her face. She had a delicious plan. A wonderful, scrumptious plan. It was the sort of smile her friends would realise instantly. "If they want to come, we should let them. In fact, I think we should welcome them....with conditions." She pulled out the corsets that Cassia had brought and her grin spread. "You know, I have some sample for Barney's that are far too big for anyone I know. Plus size line or something like that. Perhaps...with a few adjustments." Yes. Yes, it was all coming together. "Skirts. And heels! Remember when I helped out with that musical? Perfect for boys." What do you think girls?

She picked up a flute of champagne, gesturing towards the assorted beverages. "I think we should toast. To diabolical plots."

Cue Rachel Fagen, knocking on the door. She was dressed in an outfit more reminiscent of Columbia from Rocky Horror than any Parisian cabaret girl, though she'd tried to dress it up by bringing along a feather boa. It was hot pink and draped over her shoulders, while in her left hand she carried a bag from a liquor store. In the other hand? A makeup bag. Because that's what you did at girly parties, right? Nails, hair, and makeup.

...yeah. Clearly, Rachel had not been to many girly parties in her years of life.

She adjusted her grip on her sacks, set the right one down, and began unbuttoning her coat. She honestly wasn't worried about unwanted attention on the subway, but it was cold out there. Far too cold for a vest and underwear.

Cassia had to giggle at the evil look on Bianca's face. Yes, so she was picking up her drift. No male admittance without dressing up in corsets, heels, and fishnets. She couldn't wait. It was diabolical, at least in her mind. Cassia didn't really come up with evil plans and her idea of evilness was buying corsets and fishnets for herself! So this was EXTRA evil. Plus she had her camera, making it ten times worst. They also had to make it worth their while so there would definitely have to be something that would make them want to get in despite the fact that they had to wear corsets and fishnets and the such.

Going over to the table, Cassia surveyed the variety of alcoholic drinks, spotting a few that she happened to like the every once in a while that she drank. Finally just picking up another flute of champagne, she lifted her glass and tapped Bianca's with it. "To diabolical plotting!" she echoed with a small giggle, taking a sip of the golden liquid before looking up when she heard the doorbell go off.

"I'll get it!" Cassia exclaimed, walking giddily over to the door, if that was even possible. Balancing the glass in one hand, she opened the door with the other. "Oh hi!" she said with a smile, stabbing back so Rachel could get inside and out of the cold. It certainly was quite nippy outside. Then again, it was winter in NYC.

"Hi," Rachel replied, grinning as she stooped to pick up her bag. "I brought more stuff to drink, and mixers - I hope you guys like rum?" And whiskey, and Coke. Ray hefted the bag, and bottles chimed as they knocked gently against each other. She stepped quickly away from the door, so that it could be closed and the cold air could be kept at bay.

"Wow," Ray said, looking around at the set-up, and finally settling her attention on the video of Moulin Rouge. "You guys really went all-out with the theme."

Bella Grace arrived directly behind River, with a coat over her outfit which was quite appropriate and far too revealing (or at least, that was what David would say and most likely her mom, too, but neither knew she was going to be here).

BG remained in the doorway as River showed off her outfit and after River finished speaking, BG actually applauded. It seemed appropriate somehow.

"Happy Birthday!" She took of her own coat revealing her outfit, grinning as she walked into the room, eye-ing River's headdress especially with awe. "I feel completely under dressed in comparison to your fabulous attire, but it's your birthday. You're allowed to show us all up."

She gave out compliments to everyone else and their fantastic outfits as well.

So she was a little late. Who could blame her? Lou had never been to this particular apartment building before, and no matter how well-acquainted you were with heels, there was something uniquely difficult about navigating New York's public transportation in heels, stockings, garters, and a tight little red can-can dress, all tastefully hidden beneath a black coat.

Knowing her luck, however, Louise had the bad luck of losing her grip on her purse and wallet somewhere halfway down the street -- and a gust of wind had come along right when her iron-hard grasp on her coat loosened. The jacket had blown open and left her in all her shivering, fishnetted glory. Right now, to her horror, there was a shell-shocked but very happy sixty-year-old man wandering somewhere in Manhattan.

Still, with persistence, she made it safely to Bianca's, just in time to see two women entering in front of her. She rang the buzzer anyway, poking her head in through the open doorway.

"Hi? This is the debauched Parisian cabaret night, right? I'm Louise, Cassia invited me..."

Late, late, who called it as late? Maddie just... wasn't there as quickly as everyone else. It had taken a tiny bit longer to squeeze herself into the full length ruby colored gown, and curl her hair into a fascimile of Nicole's (God, that movie was good) than she'd thought, but now, huddled into a thick sheepskin coat, and scarf, she headed into the apartment listed, just as another girl headed in.

"Hi, Maddie - ready to do the Parisian schindig, yes? I brought vodka," she waved a bottle brightly.

Bianca gave a bright smile to their latest entrance and closed the door behind her. If anyone else came, they could ring the bell. The foyer was getting crowded now and this was definitely enough to get the party started.

"There's never such a thing as late when it's a party," she assured Maddie, and ushered her in with the rest of the girls.

And ring the bell she did. There wasn't much Audra could pass up, and getting put up in a costume and drinking was pretty much not one of those things. It'd taken her ages to find someone to do up what she was wearing, and when she finally had, she made sure her knee high boots were on, and her fedora and headed to the party.

Now she was ringing the bell and waiting for someone to answer, hoping that she wasn't too late. That was her, always just almost right on time, but never actually on time. It was a really bad habit. Just as she rang the bell, she stumbled slightly in her boots and thudded against the door with a grunt before lifting herself up and dusting herself off.

Bianca, already slightly intoxicated, answered the door and ushered her in. A broad smile showed just how many drinks she'd already had and, once Audra was inside, she swung the door closed.

"Welcome! Everyone's in the living room! Take off clothes and join the fun!"

Between the words 'party' and 'Parisian Cabaret,' there was no way Gertie was missing this. Even if she did have to pay for having a Friday off with a Saturday evening shift. That had been easy enough to wiggle her way out of, a simple matter of explaining to her most lecherous manager exactly what sort of theme the party she was planning to attend had, and promising a polaroid; he hadn't let her out of the shift entirely, but he did let her leave early. Her outfit, borrowed the day before from one of her similarly-sized friends (costume parties were made much easier by connections in the acting world,) had taken some time to do up to perfection, and she'd spent the trip to Bianca's apartment having her ego fed by the guys who looked at her even with a coat concealing most of it. But she was here now, and that was what counted, right? She rang the bell and then struck a pose while waiting for the door to open again.
