"Damn right.. way tastier than any espresso I've ever tasted too, like crack you don't have to inject or snort up!" she replied cheerfully, wiping her fingers off a bit so she wouldn't get sticky stuff all over everything. She put her feet back up where they were and shrugged a shoulder.
"I dunno, wasting time away before I'm supposed to drag myself into work. And it seemed like a good of a place to do it as any, and there's no way I'm gaining ten pounds by eating all these donuts by myself. Not too late, I'm just going in to close up, not really work. Someone lost a key."
Mostly it was because she was bored, and bored never meant anything good. She'd probably get into trouble. Which is why she was volunteering to go into work.

But at least sometimes the maniacs came with donuts.
Noah settled himself into the chair, and with a cheery little "Do you mind? Saving you from gaining ten pounds and all--" he picked up another one. Mm. Sprinkles. "Where do you work, anyway?" He delivered his question around a mouthful of food. He was good at remembering litle details about women, but he'd barely sat down and talked to Audra before; no wonder he didn't really know her.
Well, guess this was his chance to find out.

Audra gave him a bit of a sympathetic look, "I totally feel your pain. Get stuck with the night shift or something?" to be honest she didn't really get how it worked with the other people, she just knew what she did when she had to clean up around the Pen. She shook her head at his question and gestured, "God no.. eat till you puke," she told him.
"Ah well I work.. part time at the Game Stop, during the day I'm at school, trying to finish up and then I'm kind of doing this weird.. intern thingie.. with a gaming company. Always on the go." and even though she'd just wiped her fingers off, and she shouldn't eat another one, she was eyeing the donuts again. They were calling her name.
"But at the moment, I'm about to head to Game Stop. You can never give kids the keys to the castle, they go hog wile."

He chuckled a little to himself and leaned back in the chair, balance wavering back and forth between him and the table. "Cool. Sounds like you've landed every guy's dream job. Catch me ten years ago, I was strongly considering bailing out of university to play video games all day. Just that sorta thing."
There was a playful twist to his lips and a joking lilt to his voice. When was there not?

Playfully she nudged him with her foot, "Shush, if they find out I'm really just slacking to play video games, and I'll actually graduate for it? They might find out something's up. No telling. And I just love Game Stop, we get the most adorable geeks in there."
