Who: Harrison Tweed [Tweedledum] and Neil McLaughlin [Caterpillar]
What: The promised phone call.
When: Wednesday afternoon.
Status/Rating: Complete!/PG-13 for curses of joy.
Cassie said "yes". Harrison was going to get married to Cassie. He was engaged. After celebrating together, Harri had spent the rest of Tuesday alternating between dancing around like a loon and calling up his father. Dr. Tweed was a bit surprised by the news, but very happy. It's not every day that your only son calls to tell you he's engaged and to "get your ass to the States and meet her".
Harrison was too excited to be afraid of cursing at his dad.
He had promised Neil that he would call as soon as he'd popped the question, and now that things had calmed down as much as they would, he was ready. Okay, so it wasn't right after she said "yes", but he knew Neil would understand.
Reclining on the couch in his and Cassie's living room, he pressed Neil's name on his cell phone's contact list and listened to it ring.
