Chloe had come late and though the original dress she'd planned was indeed of some sort of art nouveau persuasion, the earlier pornographic pirateering had left her with a wealth of whip marks, bruises, and scratches that simply wouldn't have fit the part...Lest she decide to go as a Scottish soccer hooligan; though that would not fit the red she be demanded to wear either ( ... )

Glad to have him playing along, Chloe forced her smile away as her voice lowered just marginally. An arm coming to wrap subtly around his waist, leaning up to speak into his ear.

And with that a ridiculously evil grin shot out across her face, and the gift box, which held an old black stetson in turn was presented to her friend. Relieving him of the parcels he'd been forced into taking.

The mixture of emotions upon her fair friend's face had led the Sage to watch with puzzled amusement. It was akin to giving a dog a spoon full of peanut butter, whilst it was happy by the treat it found itself raptly confused by the double edges sword that'd stuck it's tongue to it's mouth ( ... )
