[ Personality ] :
Zack is a boy training to be a hero at the Olympus Coliseum, because of this is he is very dedicated to his training and goals. He is hardworking but he always has a smile on his face. Nothing really seems to faze him and he is a good sport about losing as seen when he lost to Aqua in the match and lost his "spot" at becoming Phil's trainee. He simply smiled and said he needed to work harder if he wanted to become a hero. Because of his good natured attitude, he makes friends easily. It's easy to see it's, well, easy for him to befriend just about anybody. Hercules, Aqua, Terra, Ventus, and even Phil.
But like anyone in Kingdom Hearts, everyone has darkness residing in their hearts. Including someone like Zack. Unfortunately, he easily fell prey to Hades, letting him exploit the darkness within with the assurance of winning. Zack can be a little gullible in regards to this, but he really only has the best intentions in the end. He berated himself for letting Hades control him like that, learned his lesson easily and it only made him determined to work harder to reach his goals.
Zack can also be a bit of a flirt as seen when, despite losing to Aqua, he promptly asked her out on a date. Whether this is actually a small crush or not is debatable, but one thing is for sure. It, again, made him more determined to be a hero because once he does so, he is going to ask Aqua out on a date. He's got a one-track when it comes to this. She made no promises but he didn't listen, once his goal is set, he will attain it. To be a hero, ask the pretty girl out, and make friends. Zack's life couldn't be simpler (or more complicated?) than anyone else's in all of Greece. But that's what makes him so lovable. He's caring, cheerful, and willing to do anything for his friends and he makes friends easily.
[ Strengths/Weaknesses ] :
Zack's strength lies in his enthusiasm, determination, and skills. He always has a smile on his face with everything he does and he is determined to finish whatever task has been given to him, no matter what. Because of this, despite his young age, he is a formidable fighter. Of course, he still needs work as Aqua and Terra defeated him, not that he minds. It just means he needs to work harder! And he will do so with, again, a smile on his face.
His weakness lies in that because his heart is so very open to others, he can and has been taken advantage of. There is darkness in every heart, his is no exception. Hades took advantage of that, promising him the winnings of the Games in order to control Zack until Terra defeated him.
Despite growing up in Greece, he has attacks and moves that highly resemble his Final Fantasy VII counterpart including a meteor rain attack (they basically resembled the DMW attacks Zack has access to in Crisis Core. DMW = Digital Mind Wave which looked like a virtual slot machine, using Zack's friends as the slots and thus releasing Limit Breaks). However, because he is not a SOLDIER and all that other fun jazz, most of his attack style is a bunch of combos, Slide attacks, and a few Blade Beams. All in all, Zack is a very good opponent when it comes to the sword and could even give Terra and Aqua a run for their money.

[HELLO SOMARIUM. Have a baby Zack who is from a time where technology, paopu fruits and ice cream, doesn't really exist. Yeah, being from Ancient Greece will do that. So he'll be staring at his Dreamberry, inadvertently turning on the video feature as he scrutinizes the thing. He turns it upside down, side to side, his gloved hands covering the camera as he turns it around.]
Seriously, what is this thing?
[He finally stops shaking the poor Dreamberry and he begins looking around, his face partially shown as he doesn't really drop his arm, he just isn't pointing it at himself either.]
And where am I? I know I got knocked in the head a couple times today during training but I was pretty sure it was my home I went to bed in. Hello? Helloooooo!! Hm, where is everyone? I can't be the only one here, right? Heeyyy!! Phil! Herc! You there? C'mon, this isn't funny anymore if it's some kinda joke!
[A pause, he looks at the Dreamberry, turning it over again but he still can't figure out what it is.]
No, this would be too elaborate and I doubt Phil would give Herc enough time to pull it off anyway. But that still doesn't tell me where I am. Hello!!!
