Good God. So I have read all your phenomenal posts and basically am weeping at two pm on a Sunday afternoon, surrounded by pillows. It's good craic. Apart from my LOATHING OF RYAN - EXCUSE ME? MURDOCK/VELVET -- NEVER GOING TO HAPPEN, SRY2SAY, UNLESS MURDOCK WINDS UP DEAD IN HIS BED - this game has been phenomenal. I came from a history of HP games, too scared to venture into original writing and largely blocked on writing by my own self. This game -- shit. It's taught me bucket-loads, and shown me (more importantly) how much I still have to learn.

I am proud to have gotten to write with so many fabulous people, and I am sad we're all scattering, because hell - Jane and Sheena? I am livid I did not get moar writingz with you before you ~moved on~. But I am seriously seriously grateful that I joined, and got to be a part of this. FT was an impressive playground and the people in it seriously fantastic. How can I forget the Kilroy/May torturing of interns, the Byrons' slow creep toward a relationship that pwned the rest of the comm, the Reynard/Bluebeard stuff that displayed true villainy. I have managed to draw a shit-ton of you lot into Mythos, and for that I am supremely grateful.

My favourite moments? FORGIVE THE CRAZY AMOUNTS OF ~OLD~ CHARACTERS. But. Luke and Cygna's discussion of optimism/pessimism. Alex and ...just about every flagrantly anti-feminist post he made, plus his friendship with Easy. I have to add -- psychoanalysing Easy post ~liason~ from Maddie. And finally, what I'm most proud of and will miss most -- the really, really 'I cannot remember where it came from' stuff with Gray, Mike and Rose.

Anyway. Tl;dr MEME TIME.

Gray ADAMS: The seeds of a casual relationship with Mike germinate into something that dissolves three years of ~sexual frustration~ and potentially sends Rose running screaming, having walked in with a demand at an inappropriate time. Her success with the Winters' case proves to herself that she can rescue children -- and return them to where they ought to be, thus satisfying her Tale's yen to help. A great deal calmer, therefore, she continues to urge Rose through university despite having absolutely no faith in the girl's ability to complete it (and thus needling her about the debt racked up at every turn). Reynard's eventual fall back into pattern completely shocks her, and shaken, she questions her judgment and winds up slightly less caustic. The pseudo-relationship with Mike having ended amicably, she ends up marrying a senior partner in her firm, who understands the ~call~ of documents and case-work. He is also divorced and has two small children, so when the second round of IVF stuff fails, she does have some sort of comfort. She watches Rose graduate with shock, and then law-school with even more shock. While she offers Rose a place in her own firm, Rose turns it down, and when Gray is slowly leaning toward retirement, she watches Rose turn into a tenacious and clever young lawyer. IT MAKES HER HEART HURT, GUYS, OKAY. She regularly visits and discusses cases with her almost-daughter, and they live perpetually in a relationship where Gray continually criticizes and makes snide comments, but also expresses the massive amounts of love.

Conway FREY So Con, having annoyed Asher beyond the point of actual 'able to stand it' actually winds up helping him out in a magic-fit, and thus had her older brother's Tale-self ~revealed~ to her. She winds up happy but distracted, moving through life cheerfully trying to avoid all sorts of decision making. She ends up in a relationship that ends due to sheer frustration on the part of the man, as to how to communicate at all with her, and leaves detailed instructions as to how to bury her. Which is all very helpful, as she dies in a fuck-up with a bungee-jump in Australia, leaving her one of the most interesting corpses, ever.

I am not going to tie up Jody or Jack because there is very little to tie up. Jody was, originally, going to be one of the victims of Reynard's cycles -- and end up killing herself, because hey. After that, what else do you feel like? Jack, I plan to hang onto.

Sayonara, folks!
