Freya lifted a fist and let it fall three times, spaced to let the sound begin to fade between each. Then she waited, hoping Sasha was home and prepared for the visit.
The door is promptly opened, the pale woman smiling softly and moving aside, flanked by a pair of kittens; one black, one white. "Please, enter this home, and to it be welcome; may all the hospitality of this hall be yours to enjoy." Held to her chest by a combination of what at first glance looks like some kind of skydiving harness and one arm is a large baby girl, napping for the time being.
"Thank you, frau Sasha." She smiles to Sasha, the kittens, and the baby. "I did not realize my old friend was visiting. If this is an inopportune moment, I will return later."
"Grey and Alison have gone hunting--though not, I think, a-viking--and Mortimer and I have been entrusted with Iva's care until they return. But even were he here, there is no moment at which you would not be welcome here." She smiles, gesturing invitingly to the house's interior.
"Thank you." She steps inside, lifting a hand to lightly stroke at Iva's hair as she passes. "He must trust you very much. I have brought the items necessary for the protection you requested."
Sasha is quick to close the door behind her. "At the least, he trusts Alison." Her smile grows. "You have? Wonderful. If there is anything I could provide that would aid you, it is yours. And there are refreshments upstairs, if you find yourself wanting them, before or after."
"No need." She takes, from the bag at her hip, a half-dozen slices of amber carved with runes. "These will go over your doors. Once they're up, I'll finish the spell."
Sasha nods. "I shall show you the doors, then. If you would walk this way, please?" Thus does Freya get an abbreviated tour of the house, stopping at every exit door, including one of the ones that Must Not Be Opened.
Sasha nods. "When you are done, refreshment awaits in the parlor. And thank you." So saying, she makes her way to the parlor, to get things ready there.

She joins Sasha a half-hour later, smiling. "It's done."
