I looove December, despite its intensity
My teenage years are coming to an end in about a week and a half, shortly before this decade's own completion. The dots are crowning our i's while t's are becoming heavy with their own horizantal additions as this month prepares to wrap up. Twenty years old! What a pointless age.
I'm moving again at the end of the month, for the fourth time since June. This time to only three blocks away and in with three of my favorite gentlemen in the whooole worrrrld. New year, new home. We have big plans!
Speaking of moving, my office is relocating to Oakland next week. I'm dreading the commute. I need to look for another job. This law office thing is lame anyways, even though I am glad I'm at least helping injured workers. My future plans change constantly. My new thing is to just go to a million info meetings to see what appeals to me and get ideas. Tonight I'm doing the Peace Corps one and this weekend I'm going to check out a "Green" MBA program as well as some teaching credential programs. I'm taking a GIS (Geographic Information Systems) class next semester at City College to try and improve my hireability in the environmental job market. I may take the Foreign Service Officer Test next year and apply to work abroad through the US Department of State. Apparently they have a deficiency in those FSOs specializing in Economics, which could be awesome to do.
I'm also thinking about joining this traveling horseback environmental education circus in South America. And last night my friends and I decided we were going to take steps to be able to own a bar in San Francisco in the next four years ("it's always foggy in the sunset"...). I don't know why I even bring up any of these future plans ever, because obviously my directions are a bit scattered and erratic so far. But this is where I'm at. I'll figure it out. My bills are getting paid and I'm surrounded by immeasurable love, enthusiasm, passion and creativity.
In the meantime, I'd like to focus on learning to crochet, finishing my theremin project, music, band management, writing, and crafty holiday gifts. Tis the season!
Oh yeah, and I brought my car back up!! FREEDOMMMMMMMMM
