An epic tale of my struggle with the fashion industry.

In Toronto again, decided to hit the mall and attempt to buy clothing that fit and was not a t-shirt with an amusing slogan or a pair of jeans I bought in high school.

With varying success. A few scenes:

Oh, this shirt is nice! *removes from rack*

*notices slit in back*

* notices slit is stitched on the edges and is thus deliberate rather than a defective piece of merchandise*

. . .

*moves on*

Oh, this is niiit's transparent. *sigh*

Hmm . . . this sweater is nice, but the sort of nice that is worth less than the $90 pricetag.

Ooooooh, that top on display is beautiful! *searches store* and apparently only exists as a display model.

So, yeah. Ended up getting a Doctor Whooves shirt at Hot Topic, one pair of pants that miraculously fits, a pair of boots that seem to blend the steampunk and the practical, and a shirt that I'll need to look at tomorrow to decide if it's something I actually like or was just the best option left after a lot of frustration.
