I had a very nice birthday
Today, despite having a cold, I had a good day. First it was off to the doctor's this morning so that both Ariel and Aurora can get their flu shots. Then Michael took Aurora to daycare and was off today to be with Ariel since she has no school. They met me for lunch which was nice and then Ariel stayed with me a bit at work while Michael had to talk to his former boss about some stuff he was still working on for them.
After I got out of work, we met up for dinner at my favorite restaurant, Panda Heaven. It's a Japanese Hibachi/Sushi place. I had the shrimp and scallops combo - YUMMY! Once we got back home after dinner, I got presents! Michael's gifts to me were given to me in advance so, I thanked him for my winter coat and for my dragon tattoo once more. He did surprise me though by giving me a talking Jack Sparrow ornament. *squee*
The girls gave me music Disney Princess cards and bedroom slippers (which are desperately needed as my old pair are on their last threads). They are the perfect color too - BLACK! ;)
Tomorrow for Thanksgiving we will be heading to NY to be with my family. On Black Friday, we'll be going into The City to take Ariel for the first time ever. We'll be taking her to the Museum of Natural History - you know, the one in "Night at the Museum" - she's gonna' lose her mind! I can't wait. Then given the time, we'll hit either FAO Schwartz, Toys R Us, or the World of Disney (I'm hoping the latter because she can get her picture with a Princess there and I know she would just be so surprised about that). We'll see what we can fit in.
