Today was really random. Those are the best.
So many people just said random things to me today. Just walked up to me and started talking to me for no apparent reason. It was nice though! :) It's good to be reminded how nice people can be, and that sometimes I actually like them. Our waitress just looked at me out of the blue and said that I'm a pretty girl, and that I'll go really far with my personality. So sweet! I felt like hugging her. Then later she told me that they were hiring, and that I should fill out an application. Haha, guess there was an ulterior motive lurking beneath her compliments :-p I told her that I already have a job, and after I asked her a few questions I made a mental note that my current job pays WAY better than that. Of course I suppose it might be about the same with all your tips. But I took the application from her anyway, just because she was so sweet I didn't want to burst her bubble. Plus I don't believe in completely closing the door on an opportunity and refusing the very idea, because as soon as you do that it'll bite you in the ass and you'll end up doing it anyway. So if I don't want to leave my cush job and waitress, then I had better keep an open mind. :-p
I finally bought Switchfoot's CD today. It's pretty different from what I thought it would be... I kinda wish I had gotten Coheed and Cambria instead... But thass'ok, different is good. Diversify bitch.
I find most nursery rhymes to be completely unethical. Honestly. The things that we imprint on our oh so impressionable children's minds! I mean we don't realize it at the time of course, but now if you go back and analyze and actually come upon the meaning behind some of them, it's alarming. Wow. Look at the things that I actually use up energy thinking about. I must be cool or something. Bwa ha
Ok well I'm off to go order my new pink Sugarcult shirt! YAY! :D It's so rad. Band shirts and bunnies make me happy.(?!)
Oh yeah, I have a song named after me and you don't so I am cool after all. I knew I was. And my husband is mind bogglingly hott, and you're not.
