All sorts of eye candy
Sometimes I do wonder how can 16cms worth of expensive plastic be this damn cute! While her open-eyed faceplate is elsewhere for a faceup fixing, we're using the sleepy one. If Enne already didn't have a twin, I might go crazy and make her a twin anyway from the sleepy plate. Hmm, triplets...graah....no. Although I must admit that I whipped up a perfect idea, storywise, how I could justify owning an army of cute tiny BJDs. Or maybe an excuse :B
I recieved my Enchanted Doll eyes last Sunday, and of course I had to try to take some photos. Too bad about the bad light, but maybe you'll see at least something?
Senka got custom ones which are giving me quite the challenge. You see, I'm not a big fan of pupilless eyes on dolls, I think they easily make the doll look soulless. These do have silver pupils, but I don't know if these still are too lifeless. Bygg sculpt does have the staring "derp"-expression, and Senka's character is a blank-eyed boy who just stares at everything...we'll see. He probably needs some edge with a right faceup and styling so he won't be just a shadow.
Mr. Little Beloved Monkeyboy got some icy green which go very well with his red hair.
All right, this one is quite hopeless but I think you can spot that he has eyes! Imagine a great shade of yellowish green, and you're done. Ah, Uncle, the grumpiest demon of the grumpiest.
