"South Pacific" is finally over!

Don't get me wrong, there were points about the show that I really did enjoy.  The people I met were fun and entertaining and I enjoyed their company.  I loved joking around about killing Cable every night.  I think I had more fun with the tech crew (Ashley, Dennis, Tyler, Shawn, and Aaron) than I did with the cast.

But parts of the whole process just got aggravating.  Kristen was clueless with props.   Then there was Cable.  (Enough said.)  Getting thrown into makeup was unexpected...which I gave up on when Jeremy told all of the boys to go to Honoree for their eyeliner.  My annoyance of Jeremy sort of came and went throughout the show.  Some days I was perfectly fine; some days, I just couldn't handle him.  This cast didn't come out to Tech Saturdays and barely offered to lift a finger.

I don't know...overall, I'm just glad it's done.  Maybe it's because the people I normally survive 'Berg theatre with aren't around anymore (the graduates, Jessie...).  It was so much fun to see all of the APsiO alumni come out...Bradley, Leslie, Jes, Cassandra, and Brittany...all one night!  And I can't get over how happy I was to see Mike.  I saw him standing on the wall and literally ran over to him and practically tackled him.  I love it when he comes out to see me.  I can't wait until he gets his license and a car and can come over more frequently.  I love him so much.  He means the world to me.

I'm trying to decide if I want to audition for the one acts.  I really do because I think it would be fun.  However, I know my schedule and how crazy I'm going to be.  Still, I really want to be on stage again.  And it'd be nice to work with someone other than Dr. G.  I think I might.  Worse comes to worse, I won't get cast.  I mean, I'll have all of Christmas break to finalize my lines.  In addition to scenes for ACTF.  Dan and I are really going!  I can't wait!  He came to see the show tonight.  That really made my day.  And the ACTF respondant was Bob from Tri-C.  Small world, huh?

I couldn't be happier.
Simply couldn't be happier.

Welcome back to "time to do all of my work"!
