Bath & Body is cutting down hours now that the sale is almost over. I don't expect to be at the store more than twice a week starting on Monday...and for four hours at a time, if I'm lucky. My mom is offering to pay me for household chores since B&BW is cutting me down. And I'm also getting money from my internship by babysitting for her kids on Thursday's, which is nice. Payment to play the Wii and watch movie.
Oh, startling news. Remember the bitchy Disney Store manager I couldn't stand...Mary? The one who never had me register trained? The one who made me fold t-shirts for four straight hours?
SHE MOVED TO PARMA! And guess who is taking her spot as CSL?
(No, not me. Thanks for thinking of me, though!)
Megan! My closest friend at work! And she's going to put in an additional good word for me in hopes that maybe I can come back and do a bit of each. I don't know if I'd be up for it, but I'd give it a shot.
In other news, five days from now, I'll be on my way to Valley View for HP5. I still need to decide what I'm doing with my wig...if anything...and what I'm going to wear with my wig and shirt.
And then a week from tomorrow Leslie is coming in town for the weekend! We're both going to dress up for my intern's booth at the St. John Westshore Arts Fair Gala on Friday night. All the wealthy Westlake people come. We're dressing up to advertise for our fundraiser in October. I'm going as a flapper. I can't wait.
And then a week from tomorrow begins my glorious weekend at the medieval faire!! My mom finished my wench underbust vest yesterday. I made decent headway on the skirt tonight, but I messed up a bit and I'm too tired and lacking the patience to fix it tonight. So that's on the schedule for tomorrow while Mike is out with Matt and Katie is out with Phil. A whole Friday of sitting around. Oh, joy. Oh, bliss.
I have less than a month before portraying Lucy and I really need to start practicing my speeches. I also need to find a forensics book that I can use to hold the speeches. I also have to buy a slip. Oh, my character shoes came in today! I love them. I feel like a true thespian now.
My jazz class is making good progress. We added more to the dance tonight and it looks good. I still can't pirouette to save my life. I watched part of the Jazz II class before ours. They do the same routine we do...it's just a little more difficult. Double pirouettes. *shudder*
Well, I must be off. "G'night unto you all."
