"...from the depths of my soul, it's beyond my control..."
Well, tonight was my first official wedding as a member of the bridal party. :D Allison & Mike got married at a little pier in the middle of the woods by a small lake and a little lodge. It was so cute, secluded and romantic. Their kids, Christian and Nathan, were absolutely adorable at the wedding. I got escorted by the groom's cousin, Will. Allison's brother, Billy, shot up! He's about 6' something right now and he's in amazing shape and looks wonderful. I never would have recognized him.
I tried a new Seagrams tonight...strawberry margarita. Very tasty...better than the berry. I also had strawberry pucker jell-o shots that PALED in comparison to Babs' expert jell-o shots.
Oh, and guess what? I caught the bouquet!! Allison told me that Mike needed to catch the garter, but Billy ended up getting it. As I sat on his lap for our picture, he told me that he expected me to live up to that bouquet soon.
Well, when Mike and I got to his house, he told me how much he wanted to just go upstairs and fall asleep with me. Afterall, his mom was out of town, so we actually could. Besides, I had to be at Katie's house (ten minutes away) in the morning, anyway. I was two seconds away from calling my mom and telling her I was sleeping over at Katie's house. The chance to fall asleep with Mike again...
...and I didn't call.
I'm 21...this shouldn't be an issue. However, I am staying under my parents' roof and if they had noticed in the morning that I was gone without telling them, they probably would have called the police or something.
God...I want to fall asleep with Mike again so badly...it's such a wonderful feeling.
*sighs*
Anyway, my stomach says that it is time for bed.
