Here I am, world! It's the new me!
Just to be a teaser, I don't think I'm going to post picture of my new 'do. Instead, I'm going to leave you quivering in suspense. Aren't I evil?
I got to spend time with Cassandra. :) I miss her so much. We made dinner together and watched movies. This morning, I showed her my library and she was an angel and sat through my hair procedure. :)
Mike and I went to see "Ghost Rider" today. Despite the fact that we missed the first ten minutes or so, the movie is very good. Nicholas Cage did a great job and I must say that I am quite taken with Black Heart.
When we got back to his place, we watched "Tarzan" together. It was his first time seeing it and he really seemed to enjoy it. This was another one of those simple, magical nights...the nights that remind me how lucky how I am to have...how I don't deserve someone who treats me that well. The nights that make you stop and think...where was I before I met him?
I adore him so much. To the ends of the universe and back...for forever and a day...to infinity and beyond.
*sighs* Okay, okay...cheap joke. But it worked, didn't it?
There is a new Heidelberg scholarship being offered that I qualify for. In honor of Christi Thomas, it is presented a 'Berg junior majoring in education. Among other things, the scholarship requests an essay explaining "learning and the arts." :D That just so happens to be my aim for education. :)
Only issue is that I need two letters of recommendation for it. They can be from anyone...family, friends, professors, etc. It needs to explain why I should receive the scholarship on Christi's behalf. I asked Mrs. Grine, but I think she is on the committee, so I'm assuming that she is going to say no due to a conflict of interests. I asked Mrs. Greene because she seems to have a feel for me better than anyone else in the department at this time. She knows what I'm up to and such, unlike some of the other professors.
I need one more. I want to try to keep it in the college so there is a true empathy in the way that this person writes about Christi. I'm just out of ideas. lol...this is one letter I don't plan on asking Dr. G to write.
Any suggestions??
:) Thanks!!
