"For the first time in my life, things are starting to go right."
Last night, I was so irritated that I couldn't post. Jes and I were working on our philosophy presentation and Jena was counting the money for the Secret Garden T-shirts for me. We were having problems with the presentation and Jena informed me that we were going to collect $50 more than we needed. None of the numbers were adding up. I was up until 2. At one point, Jes yelled, "Don't drown yourself in the toilet!" to which I replied, "If I drown myself, I'm getting my t-shirt first."
I sucked up to Dr. Bradie today at our philosophy presentation. I know she loves earrings, so I wore my hair all the way up and wore my medieval faire earrings and she loved them. The presentation actually went pretty well. I hope it improves my grade in that class.
I called the Disney Store and gave them my phone number and asked the manager to call me back when she could. If they don't call me by Sunday, then I'm going to call B&BW and tell them that they have me full-time the week of Thanksgiving break and I'll split hours over Christmas between the two companies.
During Musical Theatre class, we watched Bradley's "Urinetown: The Musical" that he was in over the summer. It's hilarious! (And for those curious, yes, he plays the senator exactly like he did Macheath, Polixenes, and Dr. Craven. But he must be doing something right because he keeps getting lead roles.)
Jena and I went to Rush to get the t-shirts. They're all done...they look great! No mispelled names or anything. They forgot Kerry's, but if that is the only problem, I'm fine. I called them and told them and asked if they could make another. (After all, we paid for Kerry's shirt. She needs to get it.)
Max gave me my check for $120 from APsiO. And my mom transferred money for me. All of a sudden, I have a bank account again. Of course, I need to pay off my credit card bill, but I don't care.
After all of the drama of yesterday, this is just wonderful. It's a great day!!
