The one thing I really hate about Bath and Body Works is pushing customers to purchase more things. I think there is a fine line between being helpful and being pushy. We're supposed to be demoing new Mentha Lip Shine products. Most people who come into our store have a favorite lip product already and don't want to try one. Why can't we demo something that people want to try?
After a huge escalade in hours, I'm down to about 12 or so a week again...plus possible call-ins. It's not too bad. I just wish I was working more. Which leads me to my next question...
What companies can you see me working for? Where should I go apply to work? Why?
I just had to pay my credit card bill and I want to make sure I can afford my books and any additional materials for next year. So, a second job sounds great. I need to be productive...getting busy might help with that.
And something else that has been hanging over my head. As I said earlier, our musical is "The Secret Garden." I'm still trying to find ways to pick up a decent Yorkshire accent in two months, as well as find a good song that shows off my range that I can act to in 16 bars. (Any ideas?)
What I wanted to say about TSG was this: Leslie really wants me to try to be the properties mistress for next year. I'd love to do that. I'll have the free time to spend in Gundlach (my favorite place on campus) and we get paid about 30 cents an hour (hey...this is for the experience). But I'm worried about doing this for TSG. I don't know what to expect, other than I'm worried that it's going to be really hard to find necessary props. Any advice?
Also, completely and utterly excited for Monday...I'm going to the zoo with Jessie and Davey!! We are going to have so much fun!
