Now, I consider myself to be a very positive person. Nowadays, it takes quite a bit to really twist a knife in my heart.
Yesterday, it happened.
While talking to a friend about auditioning to be a character performer for Walt Disney World when I go intern there, I was asked by them the following question: "Nikki, do you really think you are going to become a character?"

That was such a blow to my self-esteem that I was speechless. Yes, I know that they don't take that many people, but still...things likes that are not meant to be said to someone's face. However, I'm not going to let those harsh words affect me. One of my dreams since I was little was to become a character performer or to be a part of a Disney stage show at WDW. And nothing, "not blood, nor rain, nor a thousand blood-thristy savages will stand in my way."
