It's our last night at ACTF and Max has generously let me use his laptop to check mail and whatnot. 30 e-mails...wow.
So, we've been having a good time. Most of the things that happened were strictly on a "this doens't leave the convention" basis. We took a lot of fun pictures (see Leslie's FB), attended some good workshops, and saw some dynamite productions.
It has been quite a bonding experience. I've enjoyed my time with Cassandra, Jes, Leslie, Bradley, Max, Seth, and Kim. Granted, last night I had a breakdown, but I have recovered. My weekend has been truly memorable from all of these people, but my best times have came from fun times and good conversations with Bradley, Jes, Max, and especially Cassandra.
Bradley and Seth didn't make it to the second round in the Irene Ryan, which was sad. Then again, most of the people who went on were grad students, which isn't fair. We didn't see any of the other rounds, but we saw some interesting performers.
The plays were amazing. I'm dying to become invovled with "Proof" and "Red Herring." Seth and I also decided to do a scene from "Strictly Ballroom" for our Acting for TV & Film course, which I can't wait to get started on, and Leslie has offered to help. It's going to be a blast. :)
We've also met some of the most interesing people. Among them was a guy who looked exactly like Neville Longbottom and the male love-child of Johnny Depp and Jesus.
Nevertheless, I can't wait to get home.
