so i got my laptop. pretty pretty laptop. it's so fast compared to my desktop. it's nice. i leave in 3 days. it's so crazy... sooo excited. i have so much crap to do... and i have tons of packing to do... haven't really done any yet. just my cds and dvds. the important things. haha. i still have to paint my masterpieces. ha.

life is going so well, it's kind of scaring me. you know when you are looking forward to something sooo much and the couple days before you're just beyond excited, smiling ear to ear?....well i've been like that since school ended. it's been over a week and i'm just that excited all the time. i've never felt this before. i love it. going out tonight for wings and drinks... i told everyone i know to go... sort of like my last bash in cape breton. should be fun.

saturday night i wasw slightly drunk...but not that bad... going around throwing my arms up and yelling "i'm high on life!". yeah... i'm a loser... haha. it was just how i felt though. great friends who felt the same helped too. it seems like i'm finally getting to be better friends with a big group of people and now i'm moving. always the way i guess. not to mention having a date. what's up with that?

hopefully halifax will just bring more happiness to me. i think it will. already might be getting a band going. that would be great. juuust need a good job and i'll be quite happy.

so yesterday... my step-grandmother was in the parking lot of a drugstore in new waterford. she went to put the car in reverse and hit the gas, only to find out that the car was not in reverse....in fact... it was in drive. she lost control and drove right into the building...though the wall and into the cosmetic isle of Lawtons. she's 84 years old. she got out of the car and was fine. no one was injured at all. luckily, there was no one in cosmetic isle. new waterford is a small, nosey town. about 70% of the town went to see what happened. cars everywhere and people standing around. hahaha. it was on the front page of the newspaper today. it was an exciting day.
