Then I don't think you just... passed out. There were a few others... some people went missing when the rotting started. There was nothing to go back into to look for them.

She's called Amaterasu? [ Who learned the wolf had a name? Did it have tags? ]

Yeah, Amaterasu. She probably had a good reason for whatever she was doing.

So it was like a hole. But not the one that the ship's been moving toward.

Well, I'm not really sure if that's exactly what happens, but everyone considers you to be as good as dead. Everything goes black and you can't see or hear or feel or do or think anything.

So if it doesn't actually kill us, it might as well.

Somehow, we come back every time though.

I have.

I threw my sphere into a hole once to see if I could record what was inside, and I was with everyone the last time we were caught in one of the bigger ones.
