Wow, the new university printing system is complete and utter fail. They've installed a ton of new printers and installed a new payment machine in order to make it easier and cheaper to pay for your printing. But guess what! The payment machine is out of order a week after it's installation and you have to jump through so many hoops to get stuff printed off  I'm beginning to wonder if it might not be cheaper and easier to scrawl my corrections to my dissertation straight onto the monitor in red biro. They've changed the settings to 2-sided printing, which I loathe because I like to scribble notes on the back of my work, and it's taken me 5 minutes to work out how to get round that, and another 5 to actually get the damn thing to print. Argh!

Dissertation is now 6400 words and though that's not a massive improvement on the other day, most of what I've done this morning has been correcting grammar, spelling and adding a bibliography so I don't have to do it all in a rush the day before it's due to be handed in. Now I'm going to go for lunch, I just haven't worked out where yet. It'll probably be Costa Coffee as per usual though, I'm starting to get a little bored and you know you go there too much when the staff don't even ask you if you want marshmallows on your hot chocolate anymore because they know what the answer is. It's 'no', by the way. Even if they were vegetarian marshmallows I can't stand the squidgy texture of them, yuck.

babble, dissertation hell
