(after
this.)
99 had spent an exhausting week in D.C. working for the Presidential Inauguration. CONTROL had a handful of it's best stationed all over the city, keeping an eye on things. And after the mayhem, 99 was exhausted. She wanted to get away for awhile, and lucky for her, Dean had time to get away with her. And okay...maybe she missed him...just a bit.
She didn't know it was his birthday that weekend, but she was spoiling them both anyway. She wanted a real weekend away from everything, and that meant calling in a reservation on her favorite cabin in Tennessee. After sending Dean the information on where to go, and tying up her loose ends around D.C., she made her way for her vacation.
She pulled into the driveway by the cabin and looked up at it. A smile came to her lips and she started to relax already.
No place like it for relaxing. 99 let herself in and dropped her bag in the bedroom, scoping the cabin out as she went, then plopped down on the couch. She had a couple hours before Dean was expected to arrive, so she left the front door unlocked for him, curled up on her side, and drifted off for a small nap.
