[The video feed starts with the view of the inside of a hand, the whistling of the wind almost covering the sound of quick footsteps. The sound of feet against rooftop tiles changes to the creaking sound of wood as Desmond drops down from his path to the streets using crates by the building he's on top of. He lands into the dark alleyway with a

In his calmest, most firm tone, he speaks up.]
Hey, hey- Desmond? Calm down, buddy.
Where are you?
Reply
I'm calm! I'm in the residential district, near the Arena.
[He almost shrugs off the information because what the hell is Drake going to be able to do about this?]
Reply
[He ignores that dark glare, his tone unchanging. Drake wastes no time and is in his car and driving like a bat out of hell to the location Desmond specified.]

When Nate finds him, he's still by Tifa's body, back to the wall and arms resting against his knees. Nothing's been touched, he hasn't even look for clues. All he's done was to close the brunette's eyes, because he couldn't stand the desperate look on her face. At least now, she almost seems at peace.]

But when Drake found Desmond and the bodies he nearly gagged and had to avert his eyes, focusing solely on the other man. Elena's detailing of the crime had really been quite accurate. Unfortunately.]
Oh, Jesus...
[He almost admired Desmond for having more of a stomach for this than he did.]
Desmond, you okay? Did you call the cops?
Reply
I'm fine. [It's a lie, but manly men don't shed tears.] Yeah, they're on their way. [And for once, he'll be happy to see the Inspector.]

Keeping his gaze away from the mangled bodies, he spoke up. Small talk not exactly his strong point, but these murders were becoming more frequent.]
Did you... [this was a little awkward, but he was pretty sure they would have to wait here a bit.] Did you know them?
Reply
Yeah....I mean, one of them. Tifa...[He nods toward the brunette]...she's my employee. Or was, I guess...

Drake gave Desmond a helpless look. He did truly feel bad for the guy.]
Sorry...
[But accepting that he wasn't the best at this he moved onto something he could handle. Of course he wasn't exactly smooth with the transition between subjects, his awkwardness likely apparent.]
Hard to believe it's a female committing these murders. She'd have to be pretty strong, maybe stand out a little.

But for now, the novice nods slowly]
Thanks....I guess....
[And then promptly frowned at the new bit of information]
How do you know the killer's a female?
[AKA who's your sources and can Des tap into them as well?]

I take it you don't read the newspaper? Anyway, that's all the information that is known. The cops will have their hands full with this one.

No, I don't. Back home, there's too much controlled information, I guess I've lost faith in any medias. That carried over here too. [He says with a small shrug. Templars control the medias back home after all.]
I'm just hoping they'll get whoever did this soon, before someone else gets killed.
[And it's probably better for the killer that the cops find her before Desmond does, because there would be no trial for her, only an execution at the tip of his Hidden Blade.]

Yeah. I don't think the cops are getting much sleep. Not if the Inspector has anything to say about it. Hopefully that means they're close to cracking it.

If Javert is overseeing the case, there's a good chance Tifa's killer might get picked up quickly.
[He doesn't care much for the Frenchman, but he can respect his work ethics and motivations.]
