Today I'm in my room doing some work and my dad calls me up..
He tells me he is on his way back from Wilmington, listening to the radio, when he hears a news report that last night at 12:30 am there was a shooting in davis lake (my freaking neighborhood), and someone was killed. He had kept tuned in for more details... and it turned out the person that died was Elaine Monger, my old next door neighbor. Some of you know Aaron, one of her brothers.. In elementary school, her other brother was like, my best friend.. She was only 16 years old, murdered outside in a "SAFE" community after a party. What the FUCK. I was absolutely shocked to hear that.. I feel so terrible for their family.. gah.. shitty news.. shitty news..
