Monday! I think I'm going to make my new blog into a film critique blog because I'm starting to realize that would be my perfect career. I have no idea why I hadn't thought of it before, it was just something that never came to mind. But then last week I realized one of my english teachers is a film critic and I thought wow I would be really great for that job. I watch a lot of movies and I'm use to critically judging things. Heres my blog's link again, I just talked about The Informant! on it...
thembradford.wordpress.com/ so today I need to write. I'm going to head over to the study lounge at my apartment complex after this. I'm actually a bit excited about writing some short stories again! haha excited about assignments who would have ever thought. I didn;t expect to get the opportunity to write any stories this semester since I'm taking all literature classes, no writing ones.
So I am well aware that people in world like to learn something or be told something and completely go with it. This goes for dieting as well as many other things; but in dieting first it was about not eating meat, then no carbs, then everyone got obsessed with organic and now it seems everyone is realizing that you need not be on a "diet" but change your eating habits forever, a lifestyle. Of course everyone hears it and knows it and preaches it but most of them do not actually understand it. A lot, a mean almost all dieters or people changing to a vegetarian diet etc try to change by finding things that mimic what they had normally ate. Say I want to lose weight so instead of buying a candy bar for a snack I'll buy a slimfast chocolate snack bar that tastes exaclt like a snickers but is 100 calories. And this goes for all the 100 calories snacks and the boca and morning star products for vegetarians. I have learned a secret, trying to replace your old diet with things that mimic it are not going to change your diet forever. It will make you always stay attuned to those things you aren't eating and therefore make it easier for you to want to eat them. Don't buy things that mimic the ways you want to change!!
