Mr Holmes, I must inform you that this manner of thing had happened before. In that time, it did not seem that Data would survive. Yet he had managed, in an act of heroism, to restore his system. And then to see him struck down. It is most unfair.

If he has survived this manner of circumstances before then I would think that only a greater assurance that he will prevail again. As to fairness, this vessel does seem to lack this quality to a perhaps excessive degree.

There has been a disturbing lack of familiarity with ports chosen. I do think that one of my own time would be perhaps a wasted opportunity, though entirely a hospitable one.
