[Have Victor's Swiss accent, folks.] While this is not the holiday of my countrymen, it does seem to be one of numerous merits. The character of many on the barge seems much improved, especially in the case of those of supernatural origin. [Namely... Rex. Victor's not quite sure if he's human, so assumes that he's not.] I can only conclude that one such being has even graduated due to the changes caused by this fine season. [Edgar, according to Victor logic.] This is good. I am beginning to appreciate that these creatures may have some capacity for good character that was previously only held by human beings and men made of iron and steel.
I also still have in my possession the working Poke- [Pause, as Victor remembers what it's actually called. He tries again.] I have the Boy of Games, for those who are interested in examining it.
