This port was most educational. [Here's a grin, barge.] I have come to share my knowledge.

It appears that modern clothes, during their process of construction, are left with an extra 'tag'.

[Behold, a modern shirt. With the price tag still attached by the normal little piece of plastic.]

They must be removed via scissors or the sufficient application of force. [Expectant look. Yes, barge. You should be impressed by this. And check your clothes for any tags.]

This is indeed metaphorical for the inmates condition. You are the garment at hand. The tag represents the aspects of your character that is corrupted or lacking. Your warden is the one who removes the it from you. [Victor pulls the tag off by the plastic bit.]

Then you may go wherever you wish, fully functional and bettered through the experience.
