first, instead of ranting about how i'm currently very annoyed with my e-mail not working, i'll rant and tell a story!!
tani and i decided to go to the movies today..we bought tickets for spiderman, sat through a preview or 2.. then snuck into fahrenheit 9/11. at most we missed 2 or 3 minutes. the stuff before the pre-movie credits. it was very good.. and this is where the rant begins. back to when i was 10, in 5th grade. both my mom and dad are going to vote for george w bush. why? "hes better than al gore." but my aunts gonna vote for al gore because he's 'better looking'. well my aunts annoying, and my parents are always supposed to be right. so i'll take out my republican elephant beanie baby, and go around the house chanting 'go bush!' while my parents watch the news about florida vote recounts. 4 years later, i know a bit more about bush. and i find this out by occasionally watching the news. and the movie recapped and added to what i knew. and while looking through one of tanis magazines over the past week, there was a little thing talkning about bush vs kerry's views on stuff. first, i would state my view. then read what they each had to say. coincidentally kerry always had 'the right' answer. unlike bush. hell, i don't care too much about politics. i don't have to. i can't vote. but bush is a very bad president. even i can figure that one out. and from the little information i know about kerry, fuck i barely know anything other than what i read in that magazine. but tom delonge is a huge supporter. and i'm an obsessive blink fan. just another reason to support kerry right? right. really though, this is going nowhere. bush is a horrible president. go see fahrenheit 9/11. the end.
so the past couple of days i've been obsessing over my summer mix tape. but i'll get to that later. and i've been going to bed between 4 and 6 the past ..at least week. and ryan is my little love. yes he is 3. maybe 2. but hes the coolest 2-3 year old. and i still love that story (from the 4th) with some newly added detail. basically; he was on the little kid car ride, fell out onto the track, then the car ran him over and he was covered with tire tracks. but no, he didn't cry. they closed the ride for the rest of the day though. and apparently they did have seatbelts or something, but they can't be that good if a 2-3 year old can get out of them. anyway, that story just amuses me. and i realllly need a ride to senses fail. not only them though; i must see my chemical romance. i'm soo incredibly pissed about the bled not being there. i don't care as much about ffaf. but drive by (never heard, only heard of) and days away will be playing instead. and i<3days away. which leads me to the topic/events that could make or break my summer.
ah yes. finch. one of the bands always on my mind. one of my very favorite bands. ever. if i haven't been obsessing over jimmy eat world for the past week, i might be obsessing over how i really need to go to finch. well, you can ask tani about how many times i've brought up/mentioned my evil finch plan :) but i am praying for this to work. i would never be able to complain again. and this has to do with days away because they, along with recover and counterfit, are also playing those 5 finch shows. i am so desperately waiting for at least a "maybe" ..or just any sort of idea, if this plan is even possible. because although the plan seems like it could work, i have no clue if it can. take that back. it can work- i have it all carefully planned. its just a matter of whether it will or not.
which leads me to the final part of the cut: i realized today that if theres something i want.. i tend to overplan it. and obsess. and make a foolproof plan. example? dead poetic concert. and then even earlier, when we were talking about how we'd sneak in the movie.. i was obsessing over it, and when we went to go in: simple as pie and i knew it would be, but because i'm obsessive compulsive ...i have to go into detail about each step and make it sound more difficult than it is.
me and tani have decided we'll just not go to sleep because that'll be easier. and maybe just maybe i'll reposter like i was actually considering doing earlier.
