CURRENT CHARACTERS: Applying for Tsukino Usagi as well

CHARACTER INFORMATIONSERIES: Katekyo Hitman Reborn!
NAME: Sawada Tsunayoshi (Tsuna)
RACE: Human
AGE: 15 (I understand that I will be unable to have this character engage in sexual acts within the game while they are underage)
CANON POINT: Post-Future Arc
REFERENCES: The Series Wiki and As it relates to Tsuna
GENDER: Male
APPEARANCE: Tsuna is a pretty small guy, being the shortest person in his group of friends, only taller then Kyoko and Haru. He stands at about 5'2 and weighs only 105 pounds. Tsuna's physical appearance is nothing to be impressed over, thought that bird nest of a hair style is something to look at. With brown eyes and hair, Tsuna's pretty average in looks and fairly small. He dresses like a normal teenage boy, with hoodies and loose fitting pants. Sometimes, he will wear suits when he is going to mafia-related things, but generally, outside his variety of school uniforms, he wears normal clothing.

When in Dying Will Mode, Tsuna's clothes fly off and he is only in his boxers, with a flame on his forehead. He has little control of his strength and doesn't feel pain even when he runs into a moving truck. Hyper Dying Will mode is a little bit different, with the same flame, but Tsuna's eyes are calmer and orange in color. He retains his clothes and wears a pair of gloves that ignite with his dying will flame.

PERSONALITY & HOUSE REQUESTS: Tsuna is known for many things, but being brave isn't one of them. Nope, Tsuna is the king of being awkward and useless in almost all situations, and even his own mother lets him know it. Because of this, Tsuna as little to no confidence at first in himself, especially in his abilities to make friends. However, this little baby shows up and turns his world upside down. The Tsuna that comes after that is important, because his personality really flourishes from there. Primarily, he could be placed into Hufflepuff, if for his initial, outer personality.

Tsuna, as first, is not confident in himself at all. He believes that he is no good, selfish and lazy like everyone says. He skips school and doesn't bother with standing out at all. He wants to be invisible, because being invisible doesn't take work nor does he have to be embarrassed about his lacking qualities. However, when Reborn shows up and begins to assist Tsuna, he slowly becomes more and more confident, albeit not obviously so. Tsuna has accomplished many things, including saving his friends from many life or death situations, fighting a man who he thought was very frightening, and defending people he barely knows. Even so, Tsuna hasn't ever bragged about those accomplishments or made them seem like he was better. He still stays the same old Tsuna, only with a little bit more confidence that if he was to stand out, he might be able to hold his own. Even when complimented, Tsuna often states that “it wasn't a big deal” or says often that if it wasn't for his friends, he wouldn't have been able to do anything. He's exceptionally humble and rarely takes full credit for things, even though he has been the deciding factor in all of his battles.

Not only that, Tsuna is very loyal to his friends. These friends of his were something he had never had before. He was always made fun of and talked about by his peers, thus the reason why no one bothered with him. However, when he started to gain more friends, he realized that these people saw the bad things about him and didn't care. Even if they do worry him and/or frighten him, Tsuna still cares for his friends and will fight to the death to defend them. Tsuna even goes so far as to say that his “pride” is his friends, because without them, he'd still be no-good Tsuna.

That being said, this doesn't mean that Tsuna doesn't have his issues with his friends. Whether it be Gokudera's constant need to be at his side and beat up anyone who gets close, or Ryohei's constant screaming about being extreme, Tsuna remains patient. He's certainly awkward and sometimes has a hard time expressing how he feels about them at first, but he is always patient with them. Tsuna knows that his friends are there for him, even though they do crazy things. He attempts to keep calm even though sometimes he may freak out and scream. After all, he goes from being a kid who has a quiet, though unfulfilled life to having to deal with the worry of what thing Gokudera is going to blow up next or if Yamamoto's going to send someone into a hospital in a coma thanks to his pitching. Patience is the one thing Tsuna needs to stay sane.

However, Tsuna may be all these things on the outside, but the inside counts just as much. Tsuna does exhibit qualities of a Gryffindor as well, even though it's a more Neville Longbottom approach to it. As stated earlier, Tsuna is very loyal to his friends. Thanks to his loyalty, this easily frightened teen can turn into a brave leader at the drop of a hat. Tsuna is always the first person to stand up against people when it comes to his friends, but not only that, but people he barely knows. He will defend someone without much question, if he feels like they are in the right. When he has his mind set on it, it's hard for Tsuna to change it, as well. He knows what he has to do and is willing to do what it takes to help.

This bravery, regretfully, leads to acts of recklessness. When fighting Tsuna doesn't put much thought or plan into his attacks. The reason for this is because Tsuna isn't known for being the type to plan out anything. It's easier for someone like him to jump in and fix the problem first, worry about the details later. When he does attempt to make a plan during one of his more intense battles, Reborn, who is on a communicator with him, states "No-Good Tsuna never thinks about it. He just does it." This holds to be very true with his bravery, and sometimes ends up getting him hurt, even if the situation turns out okay.

Lastly, Tsuna has the inward capabilities to be a leader. He's not had many moments, but when he does have his leader-esque moments, they are profound and impressive, proving that he is the perfect candidate for the next Vongola Boss. Tsuna always does the right thing, given the situation, and makes sure that not only is it the best for him, but everyone else in his family, which is a mark of a good leader. His intuition, though sometimes another part of his reckless behaviors, can lead people in the right direction but also help Tsuna to see the hidden parts of a person and situation.

Hufflepuff is probably the best house for Tsuna, somewhere where he can shine and bring prosperity to a house that often doesn't get it, but also a place where he can fit in and feel like he belongs a little more, without having to force himself into situations. However, because of Tsuna's inner strength and bravery, he can shine just as well in Gryffindor, but would probably be a little more hesitant then most of his housemates.

COMMUTER DETAILS: Tsuna would probably be too scared of Mr. Moldy-Shorts.

POSITION: Second-Year Student

ABILITIES & POWERS: Here is a list of his abilities up until the canon point I am pulling him from. This post does state that Tsuna cannot use his abilities without two outside factors: Either Reborn shooting him with a bullet, or him taking his pills. It's been debated that Tsuna may or may not be able to summon his flames from his ring, but it's never been actively said by the creator.

The abilities stated above rely heavily on defensive and offensive attacks, but Tsuna is a primarily offensive fighter. However, he is quick to his own and others defense and is able to turn his abilities around to reflect that, which is why I believe he would find Defense Against the Dark Arts and Charms a little bit easier. However, Tsuna is heavy handed in his techniques and relies on big hits with huge, quick impact. Additionally, he's clumsy and tends to do things a little too quickly, so he would probably struggle in magics that take a more precise hand, such as Potions and Transfiguration.

For a more in depth look, Tsuna's abilities translate better based on his emotions. Granted, the rebuke bullet shows off his true, inner nature, that doesn't mean that Tsuna himself can completely control his abilities. Though I may not be pulling him from the Inheritance Arc, a good example is when he is fighting Enma. Enma makes a statement that shakes him to the core, and thus Tsuna is unable to fight, his dying will dissipating. This can translate well into the spells within Hogwarts, mostly in regards to elemental spells. Flame manipulation would really be Tsuna's strong point, but like his dying will, it's only something he can do when he's confident and determined on the situation at hand.

This can also be true for certain, higher level spells. Tsuna's abilities are very strong, but only when he's able to master them completely. Even in the Future Arc, Tsuna cannot even open his box weapon because of being scared and lacking on confidence. This weapon enhances his abilities ten fold later in the same arc, as well as the following stories, so it is vital for Tsuna's abilities from that point forward. As for how this translates to Hogwarts, if Tsuna is feeling confident, he may be able to attempt the spell, but would probably not be able to do it again without a lot of practice (I.E. A Patronus). However, if he tried to do it while feeling nervous or scared, it would most likely backfire onto him and possibly others.

WAND: Tsuna's wand is thirteen and a half inches, made of Black Walnut. The wood is tempermental, and will only work appropriately when Tsuna is feeling particularly confident. However, when he is nervous or feeling unsure, the wand will backfire all his spells, most likely onto Tsuna. This is perfect for Tsuna because of his "wishy-washy" behaviors and makes it kind of like how Reborn treats him. Tsuna gets punished for being unsure of himself, but praised for confident.

The core is something from his world, actually. The core consists of a piece of the rebuke bullet, the bullet that allows Tsuna to go into Hyper Dying Will Mode. This is important to him as it is a symbol of his inner strength and true abilities.

WRITING SAMPLESFIRST PERSON:

So I guess I don't really have much to do here. I'm even more no-good in a magic school then I am at regular school. It sucks....

[ a pause in writing, but he continues a little more ]

I-I wish Kyoko-chan was here, atleast this school would be worth going to. All this magic stuff? Who can figure it out?

[ another pause, this time he realizes what quill he's using...]

O-Oh...That wasn't meant to be posted or...something! Just ignore that stupid sentence, everyone, it's not a big deal or anything.

[ this time it's just scribbles in an attempt to erase that and part of his pride. which is now gone. ]

THIRD PERSON:

Tsuna couldn't say he believed in magic. Then again, he didn't believe in babies that could use real guns at first either, and look where that got him. Sighing, he held the wand awkwardly in his hand, trying out the charm again. It wasn't really working, unlocking doors. He could hear a slight jiggle of the lock, but nothing more. Tsuna was starting to get flustered as the kids in the class giggled. It was a lot worse then school back home, that was for sure. Turning his wand in his hand, he started to feel his knees shake a little bit under his robes. Closing his eyes, he pointed the wand a little too quickly.

"A-A-Alohamora!!" Tsuna said shakily, suddenly being knocked back by the force of the wand. Stupid thing, it always did that when he was nervous. Scrambling back up, he noticed the door was certainly unlocked and opened, but the class was still laughing.

He looked down to see his boxers with the tell-tale hearts on them, and started to turn a fabulous shade of red.

Oh man...
