Damn it, now I'm thinking about that bizarre anime-only Kuroshitsuji arc with the puppets that was never resolved. So creepy, and I just know they are never going to explain it which makes it ten times creepier.

What does a "season pass" mean in the context of The Labyrinth of Tigers? Will my access get revoked later on?

If you got access by paying 5000 rats, then you've got eternal access to the Labyrinth! They really like rats there.

Is it worth it getting a patron? What does a patron even do?

If a patron sends you an invite to "teach" you things, the invitation will boost your relevant stat a level at a cost of one Free Evening (provided that stat is under 100, even with gear).

Right now that's all the patron feature does for players under 100 in stats, but the developers say they're working on other gameplay features for patronage. You can skip this if you'd like.

I'm fairly new (two weeks, tops) and feelings like I'm advancing really, really slowly. Is that normal, or am I doing it completely wrong?

What level are your attributes? Fallen London is the sort of game where you can't really play badly or wrong.

Is there much good collecting mark of credit pages, reasonably early on in the game anyway? I sort of want to save up for an instrument, but is it better to just trade the pages in for resources?

LATE, BUT

Since the Violin you get from the Mark of Credit Pages is the only Respectable weapon in the game, I don't see it as a bad thing to save up for. Especially since there are things reserved for POSIs that require a certain Respectable quality, and the only way to increase this (other than tattoos, but that was a seasonal thing) is with Respectable (and, in other cases, Bizarre and Dreaded) items.
