There's a new critter who's just moved into the compound. Please ignore him if he attempts to bum a cigarette from you. He's trying to quit, and the second-hand smoke aggravates Ginger's asthma something fierce. Please don't enable his bad habits!*

*He knows where the smoking section is. He's just not willing to pass the Kraken to get to it.

Re: WIP thread - Brainwashing anonymous April 12 2014, 17:53:17 UTC
I think the logic behind this one went something like: watch Winter Soldier -> walk out of theater with deep need to write brutal brainwashing fic -> don't want to write for Winter Soldier -> do I have a tiny fandom in need of fic where brainwashing would fit? - yes -> oops started yet another fic.

[If only I could get assigned to write this fandom in exchanges I would be SET FOR LIFE.]The first time they pulled the human out of the conditioning unit, unarmed, armorless, and naked, he crushed a guard's head into slime and shards of chitin with one hand. Four troopers had to wrestle him back into the unit's restraints and he screamed the entire time: nothing of interest, not even curses, just a wordless roar that ended only when the unit's door whirred shut. That was the point it ended for the Pfhor, anyway. Tycho's sensors within and without the unit could still pick up alternating shrieks and hoarse, ragged breathing until the machinery reactivated and gagged him while the program ran again... )

SOB. Why such a terrible person, Tycho? I love his POV here; he's got the perfect amount of creepy detachment, especially in that "nothing of interest" comment. It makes for a great contrast to Durandal, who does care somewhat (even if he won't admit it - we're onto you, Durandal). Also, it's nice to get a little (terrifying!) bit of insight into Pfhor military culture. Just... so, so, so many brainwashed cyborg feelings.

TYCHO IS SO TERRIBLE. Sometimes I think, "man, maybe I should give him a break, he's been through some stuff too," and then I read him saying things like "Should I make Durandal open doors again for a living?" and I'm instantly filled with rage. Tycho is the worst. :(

I ALSO HAVE MANY BRAINWASHED CYBORG FEELINGS. Oh nooooooo oh yessssssssss. (I'm currently procrastinating on finishing this by working on something else, but I might slip another section into the next post's WIP thread...)

[Spoiler (click to open)]"You're a terrible kisser," Wolfram muttered.

"Well, it's not like I go around practicing with people!" Yuuri said heatedly.

Wolfram's fingers curled around the base of Yuuri's neck. "You should practice with me."

"You shouldn't insult people if you're planning to keep kissing them," Yuuri grumbled.

Their noses brushed against each other. "Shut up and pay attention," Wolfram breathed, his lips moving against Yuuri's.

The urge to strangle Wolfram slowly faded as the kiss deepened and Yuuri began to experiment. Evidently he did something right, because Wolfram let out a low moan and pulled him closer.

This time when they separated, Yuuri couldn't help but notice he was feeling distinctly hot and bothered. I like girls, he thought, faintly. I know I like girls, but… I like kissing Wolfram too.

Wolfram was still panting, his face shadowed in the dim light. Their eyes met, and with a jolt, Yuuri realized the blond was gazing at him with pure, desperate desire.

Wolfram wanted him. The thought was simultaneously terrifying and

We're getting close to actual gangbangage, folks! I'd apologize for the cliffhanger, but you sluts love it.

[In which horny boys make a mockery of BDSM safety precautions]Brad waits a few days to make a move. Tuukka must know something, because the cuddle-whoring stops too. Tyler gets frustrated with the lack of attention and starts walking around the locker room naked. The catcalls and towel flicks just make him grin wider... )

AYRT

Apologies. I can get pretty crass when I'm tired, and it was meant in an affectionate way. You might want to stay away from this fic, though, because that word is a major recurrent theme.
