Watching the music video to a Beyonce song makes me retroactively like the song less. I'm not sure what it is about them or her, but Countdown was one of my favorite songs off that album but watching the vid made me want to punch her in the face. I'm not a big fan of her latest, but XO and Drunk in Love are similarly terrible.

I like music videos so I'm always excited to see one so I click on it, but I need to remember somehow to spare myself disliking a good song because of terrible editorial choices etc.

I really miss having Internet friends. I know it's my own fault I don't have any - I don't even trust myself to consistently go on tumblr, let alone start RPing again, and can't even be bothered going on Skype - but occasionally I get hit by nostalgia. Especially when I see people, real or fictional, having awesome Internet friends. I wish I could whip myself into shape and be more active in places that aren't anon memes again. :( I feel like I hit my peak on online friends when I was thirteen.

actually what I'd like is one internet penpal or something. I don't want to be in fandom again because I know I can't handle it (I don't do well with the conflict and fighting over random shit and it seems like I end up in the middle of something no matter how much I try to avoid it if I'm in a fandom long enough). But maybe one penpal could work... but that's probably weird and no one else would want to...

Doctor Who is my major fandom, but I'd be happy to talk about other science fiction (and some other genres) fandoms at times. In general RL is fine as long as it's not in depth. Weather is fine too.

Same. I miss being part of forum culture - it's how I used to spend most of my time on the internet, and it gave me great real life friends and even kickstarted several relationships.

I find it hard to socialise on Tumblr and I'm not feeling passionate enough to find a dedicated forum and lurk there.

This weird backlash in Teen Wolf fandom against the "Scott is dumb" trope (a boring trope to begin with) is one of the most embarrassing things I've ever seen. I keep seeing posts about how horrible and ableist fandom complete with passive-aggressive flower emojis and driving me up the wall.

this post is like, PEAK TUMBLR in terms of how cringe-worthy this whole thing is getting. someone wrote a ficlet in which allison and kira dote on scott and tell them how non-dumb he is because apparently he is a tiny little infant in need of constant care and reassurance!!! Bonus: OP using the tag #ablism tw.

God, I'm just so sick of Scott stans. Jesus Christ.
