Is it really that many of us? There's a fic recs thread every post, and f_fa has been running upward of two years now, so that's a lot of opportunities to be recced. And there are a lot of writers on meme, from a lot of fandoms. I didn't find it surprising at all.

NA: Three and a half years - it'll be four in July. Though fic recs didn't really get started until the meme had been going for a while. And there are around 200 of us who comment regularly.
But, yeah, this is a fic-focused meme, there are a number of BNFs who comment here, and I'm sure many more lurk. The fic recs here have always been really high-quality, and I say that as someone whose work has been rec'ed only once or twice (then again, my output isn't that high).

I can't speak for everyone else, but for me at least, it was a cycle of meme turning me onto a kink --> me writing fic inspired by that kink --> my fic then getting recced (along with others) when requests for that kink came up. The circle of recs!

Another ex-friend anonfailed a few posts ago, so now I'm pretty sure you're all people I've defriended since 2003, or who have defriended me. Sometimes it's nice knowing these people are still around and still fangirl(or boy)ing. Sometimes...not so much.

Also yes. (Though if I ever made it to MNF status I would be amazed)
