I think he oversells himself a bit as being ~edgy and unconventional, but I like his journalistic approach to history; he looks at the meta-issues of how different historians have viewed events and the people involved, at different removes from that history, as well as providing his own analysis.

We Hate Movies is one of my absolute favorites. Invisible Child, Hider in the House, Babycakes, and Cocoon are some of the best podcasts I've heard.
The Bugle is amazing. Their Berlusconi special is simply amazing.
