Yeah, I yelled first out loud. I did. I'm almost not ashamed of that.

Honestly, I had the same thought, and I don't even mind this thread. Something about having it up top just seems...unbalanced. Bad feng shui? Who am I kidding, I know jackshit about feng shui.

any good Laurie/Jo fics that are not on AO3. Either canon-divergent ones or ones that take place after Fritz and Amy are dead/out of the picture.

*watches thread hoping for new podcasts*

My recs:

Always and forever, The Bugle. It is hilarious. The day I've finally listened to all of the episodes will be a sad day indeed (although I'll probably just start over).

I like Galactic Suburbia, though I've only listened to two episodes so far:

(ooh, there's a new one, glad I checked the link :D)

Just started listening to We Hate Movies. I started off with This Means War, and it was great even though I haven't seen it (and now I don't have to!).

Oh, and How Did This Get Made is usually pretty funny as well:http://www.earwolf.com/show/how-

I really love Dan Carlin's Hardcore History, http://www.dancarlin.com/disp.php/hharchive. The multipart series on 'Death Throes of the Republic' (the events leading to the dissolution of the Roman Republic and the creation of the Roman Empire) and 'Wrath of the Khans' (Genghis and his heirs) are particularly enjoyable, but I also enjoyed 'Thor's Angels', on the Dark Ages.

I think he oversells himself a bit as being ~edgy and unconventional, but I like his journalistic approach to history; he looks at the meta-issues of how different historians have viewed events and the people involved, at different removes from that history, as well as providing his own analysis.

DA

We Hate Movies is one of my absolute favorites. Invisible Child, Hider in the House, Babycakes, and Cocoon are some of the best podcasts I've heard.

The Bugle is amazing. Their Berlusconi special is simply amazing.
