I'm at E3!

…and it’s making me hate everything about the gaming industry. Everyone seems to have their own take on games for girls this year and they all make me feel a bit violent.

EA wants to celebrate everything that’s great about being a girl in their new Pajama Party game, which features a “speed hair teasing” mini-game. Is this everything that’s great about being a girl, EA? Really? Is that your final answer?

Ubisoft offers delightful new games featuring clothes, makeup, and jewelry, but at least they aren’t trying to sell it as girl power.

For Nintendo, I need only quote my friend @doctorparadox on Twitter, who summed it up: women’s murder club: james patterson book series, new social network for female serial killers, or forthcoming game for the DS?
